I believe

I've tried to believe in many things
but many dont make sense

I've tried hard to figure out
what exactly I do believe

Many ideas have come and gone
trends of human thought

I've left the runway shows of ideals
and started my own line


I believe in a life worth living
in a future worth saving

I believe that today can be the end
of the mistakes of many yesterdays

I believe that the world may be worth trying to save
if people would only open eyes so long gone shut


I strive to make myself believe
in an ounce of hope for this life
